Court gives permission for Tompolo"s arrest




A federal high court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has ordered the arrest of former militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo.

The presiding judge Ibrahim Buba, gave the order on Thursday (Today), after Tompolo failed to show up in court to begin probe into his role in the fraudulent land contract for the construction of Nigerian Maritime University.

Tompolo had told Info 247 Plus on Wednesday that he has not received any court invitation from anybody

It will be recalled that the anti-graft agency is investigating Tompolo over alleged fraudulent sale of land to government at N13 billion and first invited him to appear at its Lagos office on November 25 which he did not honour.
