The policemen that knocked down a final year student has been arrested.The policemen are being held at the Rivers State police command Headquarters.
The Late Oghenekevwe Edah was knocked down by a Patrol van of the Rivers State police command at the Assemblies of God junction in Alahiakia while coming back from church last week Sunday.
Until his death he was a final year Mechanical Engineering student of University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).
The driver of the patrol van attempted to run away. But was stopped by passersby and student who compelled them to take the victim to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital,where he gave up the ghost.

On seeing that he was dead (Oghenekevwe Edah) the Police men involved immediately denied knocking him down.But said they met him on the ground and offered to help him.
Info 247 Plus while speaking to a friend of the deceased,who simply gave his name as Efe, "said the deceased was still hanging around school for the purpose of putting finishing torches to his project so he could go for NYSC by February,2016".
