There was chaos yesterday at the popular Mummy B road between officers of the Nigeria Mobil Police (mopol) and those from the Navy. The chaos started when officers of the Nigeria Navy arrived and noticed that there was heavy Gridlock on the road
The Naval officers offered to help clear the Gridlock but the Nigeria Mobil Police refused, but instead ordered the Naval officers out. The Naval officers refused to obey such order, which led the Mobile Police officer to use tear gas on the Naval officer and subsequently gun shot.
This led the Naval officers to reply back with gun shots. Soon there was sporadic gun shots between the two law enforcement agencies which led people to flee for safety and cars doing a u-turn quickly resulting to heavy traffic along Aba road and Stadium road. No life was lost in the incident
Clashes between law enforcement agencies in Nigeria is common which is very embarrassing
