The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has nullified the election of the only APC candidate in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Olu John Josiah of Eleme Constituency.
Josiah Olu would head back to the poll to fight it out with Isaac Khamalu of PDP in a rerun within 60 days.
Hon Josiah Olu victory was challanged by Isaac Khamalu of the PDP. The Court of Appeal has ordered for rerun election in four of Eleme’s 10 wards where electoral defects were established.
