Chelsea News: Abramovich calls emergency meeting with Mourinho,players and staff

• Oscar may join Juventus

Roman Abramovich has called an emergency board meeting with his management team, set to take place today, to discuss Jose Mourinho's future.

The Portuguese manager is under increasing pressure at Stamford Bridge following the club's ninth defeat of the season to Leicester on Monday night


And Abramovich is set to meet with Chelsea staff - Bruce Buck, Marina Granovskaia, Eugene Tenenbaum and Michael Emenalo - to reach a decision on Mourinho.
If Mourinho is sacked the Russian billionaire will have to pay out more than £40million in compensation.

Should Mourinho stay, he has been told by Chelsea's owner that he will not be allowed to spend big in January.

Abramovich has no intention to splash out again in the transfer window, despite their disastrous start.
Mourinho could be left with the prospect of having to motivate his players - the same players he said "betrayed" him in their defeat to Leicester.

Juventus are keen to lure Brazilian midfielder Oscar away from Stamford Bridge.The Serie A side see Oscar as a priority target in their hopes of adding creativity behind their strikers.
The Blues face a fight on their hands to keep hold of Oscar, who may be tempted by a fresh start away from London to escape Chelsea's disastrous campaign.
