EFCC arrests Stallion Group MD for 1.375 billion Naira payment to Dasuki




The ongoing  drama titled "Arms deal trial" entered a new episode yesterday when reports filtered in that the Managing Director of Stallion Group, Mr Harprrie Singh, has been arrested by the EFCC in connection with the arms deal case.
Mr Singh has been accused of paying N1.3 billion Naira to the former National Security Adviser(NSA),Sambo Dasuki,which was handled by the former Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda.

While investigating a transaction between Dasuki and a bureau de change operator, Jabbama Company,an EFCC operative stumbled upon the payment.
EFCC revealed recently that it will invite top officials in the Goodluck Jonathan administration that had a part to play in the disbursement of funds relating to the arms purchase.
According to reports the actual amount paid by Stallion Group to Dasuki was N1.375 billion Naira, but it was revealed that N100 million Naira was later refunded, leaving a balance of N1.275 billion Naira in the former NSA’s possession.
